  • Selecting Swiss chard is easier than it seems. As a general rule, avoid any chard that has discolored or wilted leaves. Additionally, the bunch shouldn’t appear dried out or damaged.
  • Get some color! The best Swiss chard will have dark green leaves and bright stems (particularly if you’re selecting rainbow chard). 
  • Once your chard makes it into the kitchen, store it in the crisper drawer of your refrigerator for best results. Fresh chard should last a week or two before spoiling.
