- 700 grams sugar
- 50 grams butter
- 7 grams cinnamon (ground)
- 3 Opal Apples
- Olive oil
- Slice Opal Apples lengthwise.
- Make dry, light, caramel drizzle with sugar.
- Add butter, vanilla, and cinnamon.
- Coat the bottom of the pan with olive oil.
- Heat the pan on medium-high heat until the oil is shimmering. Add the apple slices and stir to coat the apples with the oil.
- Stir consistently.
- Pour in caramel drizzle, then strain some of the caramel and reserve aside.
