Apple Donuts

  • 1-2 apples
  • ¼ cup Greek yogurt or jam (any flavor)
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter or other nut butter
  • ½ cup dried fruit (apples, pineapples, bananas, apricots, cherries, and/or blueberries)
  • 2 tablespoons raisins or dried cranberries
  • 2 tablespoons coconut flakes
  • 2 tablespoons sprinkles
  • ¼ cup chopped nuts
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate chips


  1. Core apples and cut into round slices—then get creative!
  2. Slather on nut butter, Greek yogurt, or jam.
  3. Sprinkle on a combination of your favorite toppings from among those suggested above—or layer with the most flavorful, colorful choices you have on hand.
